About the Job:

About the position

Our systems are used in commercial real estate and senior living applications. As

we rapidly improve and add features to the system, we are building a Quality

Assurance team that scales with our organization. This role will lead the strategy and execution behind our system level test automation in both scope, design and implementation.

About the position

Our sensor suite generates near-realtime data across thousands of sensors. You will be part of the Algorithm team developing the next generation systems to operate at scale, adding structure and efficiency to the systems we use to parse this data with first principle and machine learning based algorithms.

Our Algorithm team is composed of three applied scientists and two data scientists. This role requires an engineer with strong architecture, development process, and mentoring skills.  You will work with the team to develop architecture, best practices, CICD pipelines, Hardware in the Loop tests, improve existing algorithms and develop new ones.

Requirements

  • You have an expertise in C++ programming
  • You have a strong proficiency in at least one scripting/functional language: Python, Bash and/or C

Butlr is hiring an experienced engineering leader to join its executive team to drive product/market leadership. The Staff Software Engineer (Tech Lead) will report to the VP of Engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Design architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling of new and current systems
  • Create an environment of accountability and culture obsessed with product quality
  • Work closely with the software product management team to render and realize product roadmap
  • Develop engineering plans, schedules, resource requirements, and budgets in support of the roadmap development process.

About the Job:

We are hiring an experienced Senior Frontend Software Engineer to drive our product in the market. Our frontend UI is a business focused web application, used for visualizing large datasets, live data, presenting insights, and system statistics. This application will feature an interactive canvas to modify and visualize physical layouts layered with insight information provided by our system. This role will enhance the current functionality of our front end products, experiment with data visualization, and create a new system management platform. You will take on leading feature development and selection with our Product Manager for the web application. You would be responsible for direction of our CI/CD, A/B testing, front end architecture, and team best practices while delivering concrete features to our customers. You will report directly to our Head of Software Engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on technical frontend challenges in design and implementation of data visualization, and also in 2D space visualization.

About the Job:

We are hiring an experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer who will have a direct, measurable impact on customer and operational metrics. You will drive the effectiveness of our backend’s scalability and resilience while enabling quick turnaround of innovative, exploratory data enrichment algorithms.

Our sensor suite generates near-realtime data across thousands of sensors. This data needs to be managed effectively to run inference algorithms, parse and filter across various attributes, egress to customers and dashboards, and alert customers when anomalies are occurring. Our team is also responsible for API’s to set up and build spatial data models and their relation to our hardware. Your role is to simplify complex use cases into a manageable and scalable software architecture that can grow into our expanding customer base. You will report directly to our Head of Software Engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle architecture design and implementation for our scaling challenges as well as new features.
  • Scale our data pipeline system, focusing on the architecture of our cloud services. Focus on designing, generalizing, and scaling our data enrichment pipeline, and enabling new enrichment algorithms to be created and launched in A/B testing scenarios.
  • Overhaul our backend microservice messaging layer and directly impact our hardware installation process.

Requirements:

  • You are a strong backend engineer with 5+ years of experience in architectural design and implementation for large data systems.
